Hey there, I’m Ryan Perez. I’m an actor working and living in New York City.
Ryan Perez grew up in Richmond, VA and moved to New York City to attend NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. While at NYU, Ryan studied with Alec Baldwin, Daniel Spector, Ted Sluberski, Andy Roth, and many other established entertainment professionals. Since graduating, he’s done two off-Broadway plays — Stephen Belber’s “Tape” and John Pollono’s “Small Engine Repair.” In his spare time, Ryan enjoys CrossFit, Skateboarding, and writing about himself in third person.
Ryan has a unique soul that assimilates well amongst the eclectic artists and peers he’s encountered in New York City and Los Angeles. When he’s not acting, Ryan loves music and has traveled the world as a videographer/roadie for a variety of rockbands. Moreover, he has also directed music and performance videos that have been featured on networks and publications such as MTV, VH1, and Rolling Stone.
Ryan has recently started a podcast called “An Actor Despairs” — each week interviewing an upcoming artist about their respective journey and experience in the entertainment industry so far. Since the beginning of 2018, he has been conducting discussions with artists on the podcast in an attempt to help celebrate their work. Please checkout our Podcast page to subscribe and listen to it as soon as they are released here.
